well my ego bruise healed up enough to let me go inspect the damage. there was none. I guess it hit on my home made highwway bars that I had made from stainless. It had fallen into a few boxes of crap that i was suppose to take to goodwill 6 months ago. I wondered how strong my tig welds were on my highway bars I guess I figured it out. No damage is good news for sure... right after christmas i plan on tearing her down for some upgrades and repairs. At least I'm not adding anything to the already long list.

Almost had mine over last night.
Got home and the carport was dark, (after I shut the bike off) and I didn't have the kickstand down all the way.
The SG is new to me and I'm not quite used to how she feels, anyhow, I got off the bike and she started going over, luckily the carport wall and I were there to stop her from going all the way over.

Note to self: Ensure kickstand is ALL the way down before getting off bike!

        Lost it four times.

        1. The clutch and throttle cables adjustment debacle (new rider, parked)
        2. Mossy spot where a lawn drains into the street (2 mph with SWMBO)
        3. Stop sign on a slanted road (sideways on a steep hill)
        4. Muddy tires in a new trailer (No ramps so I parked the trailer in the ditch)

Last year the day before SWMBO and I went to Montenegro.
I decided to turn around the bikes in the garage, since I am not going to do a 54343543 point turn with all the luggage.
I turn my guzzi and almost slam it back on the sidestand... which was up.
Guzzi didnt have a scratch, but I broke the floor a little. Its a bit like XS11 that bike (1998 California EV).

As I was servicing my SWMBOs CBR900, I had it leaned on the other side, supported by a broom.
As I was walking around I tripped on the broom and broke the handle.
Bike landed softly on my leg. It hurt for a week, but I survived... unlike the broom...

After installing the vetter fairing on the 78E I rode the bike out the garage, over the short on-ramp to the street and did a sharp left turn.
I didnt adjust the levers and the brake lever caught the fairing, halting the bike at the full tilt. I let it down slowly, but felt rather stupid.

          etc...
If it doesn't have an engine, it's not a sport, it's only a game.
          (stole that one from I-dont-know-who)
