    Unusual call, yet much appreciated.

    A couple of days ago I got a VM from a guy in Lansing, MI extoling the quality of the restoration of my XJ. This guy said he had 11 XJs and that none met the quality of my restoration. He wished his were close to mine and wished he could afford it.
    I was flabergasted when he called me a hero for it...!!! NEVER even been been close to being called that, ever. This guy was sooo enthusiastic that it really made it feel worthwhile all the work I put into the bike.
    He must have gotten my number from the ad in CL in WPB, yet it was something totally unexpected. What a great enthusiast!!!

      Still looks good although the pipes are now black because the gold paint didn't hold up. Need to take new pics and post them.

        Deserved praise in my opinion! You did one heck of alot of work to that bike and an awesome job.

          And it's really a pleasure to ride too. That RC Engineering exhaust sounds super awesome. You would never think it's a tuned down XS11. Phil knows, he gave me the pods and tuned it for me. It's really sweet !!
