Does anyone have any suggestions on handheld GPS units? I am looking for something that can take programmable routs and that you can imputed precise coordinates.

I have an Garmin Etrex legend cx I like it you can set up a map on your computer then transfer it to the unit , or it can be set up in the unit but because the screen is small (tiny) its harder to doSeamus Ó hUrmholtaigh

I am looking to do the same thing
Custom routes I can load, and gain turn by turn
Google nav won't do turn by turn for custom routes
Did you find a good one that works well?
I would like to transfer the route from google maps to the unit via a GPX file______________________

I have a garmin etrex series and a GPS60C that I use all the time. I picked up the etrex unit as it was a package with topo map software, so it is my spare with the 60C getting most duty.
Got a bike mount and use the GPS60C on the bars of my 80SG as well. The GPS60 goes everywhere I go, hunting, backpacking, work trips, vacation, you name it.
The newer versions of these are even better in terms of locking onto satellites quickly, features, compatibility with other devices, etc.Howard

BTW, ZRX carbs have the same spacing as the XS11... http://www.xs11.com/forum/showthread.php?t=35462

I have #16, http://www.gpscity.ca/gps-receivers, different color but the same, ordered the handle bar mount, did not do the internet mapping. It's saved me a couple times on the Wild Cat rally when I decided to leave the pack and just get myself lost.76 XS650 C ROADSTER
