  • Last rides of the year

Two nice days back to back. Road the LH on the first, then the SF on the second. Temp dropped and we are in for a week of cold hard rain. Winterized them both day and put them away for the year. This was a great year up here to ride. I started in mid march and roade all the way through to yesterday. Made the inflated insurance cost's seem reasonable.

I'm still on the road, temps are low 40s during the day. I can't believe how well this bike has ran since I got it rain or shine. Mostly rain the last couple times. It always starts and gets me where I need to go and home again, I'm going to be sad to park it when it snows.

        Storm comming

I'm always sad to put them away for the year, they run really good when it's colder but the tires are slow to heat up and I don't want to go down in a sandy corner or skid when I need to stop. I started the tear down of the E today and will start getting the property ready for the big storm comming up the eastern seaboard.
As for my southern brothers and sisters who can ride most if not all year, stay alert and stay safe. Good riding !!!!!

Upper 30's F yesterday and drizzle rain. Bad night for trick or treating. Poor kids who braved the weather were freezing. We were handing out candy by the handfuls and still had too much left over.
Riding season never ends for me in SW Ohio, it just gets interrupted for a few days when there is snow or ice on the road.
