  • Michael Cummings

I know that this is a tech forum, but because most of the members frequent this site, I bring the following news:

Michael Cummings passed away on September 25th after fighting panchreatic cancer. Mike was a member of the XS11 group for many years and attended at least three rallies. Those who knew him will definately remember him. He will be missed. RIP.

I remember Mike. He will be missed.

Problem is that many of us are getting old along with our bikes. I am now on the other side of 60 and am in the process of getting a basal cell carcinoma removed from my nose. Whoever said 'getting old isn't for sissies' had the right idea...

I've been on this list for 13 years, and have heard of the passing of many XSives. Some from accidents, some from illness. Makes me sad, but also convinces me that folks should get out and do what they love to do because our time is not that long.
