Use a NC (normally closed) relay, with the coil in parallel with the flash filament of the signal on that side. And the switched side of the relay in series with the side marker. When the signal flashes the side marker goes off. Requires a constant + and - to the side marker and will cause the side marker to flash completely opposite of the signal but keeps it simple. You can make them flash in synch using 2 relays if you want to go that way.
I can draw something up if you like.
A plus would be that the relay coils may pull just enough power to allow the LEDs to work with the stock flasher.Last edited by TheFrugalTech; 10-18-2012, 08:13 AM.Current Stable:
