Very nice looking bike! Good buy for a ready to ride machine. Does have the K/Q seat for putting on mucho miles. 78 or 79 Standard model, but someone swapped out your headlight, turn signals, and I believe rear wheel for those of a Special.

BTW, nice trunk there also, and we have the same purple sled.

That looks like a nice find. It appears the PO may have had a SG or SH parts bike. As was just pointed out, that's what the rear wheel likely came from. The slotted rotor gives it away. The handle bar and front signal lights probably came from the same bike. The headlight is a mystery to me. Your bike looks like it used to wear a tour pack.

FWIW, if we are correct about the 16" rear wheel, the tire should be 130/90-16. From the pictures, it looks to me like yours might be a low profile tire. That will get it off the line quick.

That rear tire is too small.... I'll bet that if you check the load rating it's under the needed 670 lbs....

If i were smart I'd buy a running bike once in a while. Nice find.

Nope, Dogg, you have it right. I bought a running bike and crashed that sucker forthwith. The project bikes in the garage are safe, and so am I...

Well, mines close now, I'm just waiting on some main jets. A few more little things and it should be road worthy.
