    Thanks Greg for the info.

Dang Cy, sorry to hear about this! I thought you had had an incident earlier this year with a concussion or something, can't recall exactly but remember you saying that your mental faculties were not fully functioning?

Glad to hear that you didn't get TOO hurt...ribs and extremities, not back/spine/head! Hope the bike wasn't too banged up either?

Hope to hear from you soon.

The road to recovery can be long

Cy, very very sorry to hear of your accident. Brings back some painful memories. You got much worse of it than I did I believe, I feel for you sir!!! Good news is your home!! Those hospitals suck for resting!! Alarms going off all night, found out I had sleep apnea, so I would fall asleep my O2 level would drop and the alarm would go off, soon as it woke me up, the O2 went back up. I had Dbeardslee bring me earplugs, figure let them listen to the dang thing, I was gonna sleep! Nurses waking you up to take your blood, just do it while I sleep, why do I need to be awake for it!! That and the food, how can you screw up a grilled cheese?? Home is MUCH better for resting and recovery!!!

Just kick the pain drugs as soon as you can, they only keep you down. Get as active as they will let you as soon as they will let you.

And remeber, when you find yourself watching Jerry Springer, or now Maurie, and feeling entertained.....it is definitely time to find your way to the senior center to referee shuffle board matches....anything but that stuff!!!

Hope you heal quickly!! and that your luck changes quickly to!!!

Glad he's home, not that he's not hurting, wishing you heal and the bike damage is fixable. Main thing is you get well, then get compensated.
                          All the best.
