The main objective of the day was just to see if this SG runs. It does...Got allot of work to do yet..Out of 2 banks of carbs (1-being a 78-79 and the other being the 80-81) I managed to get the carbs put together and bench sank. Next was the no spark issue. A quick fix of 3 wires on the pick up coils took care of that. Next was getting fuel from the tank to the carbs. 2 filters, 2 "Y" fittings and a little bit of hose, done deal... New battery and some re-routing of the wire harness, hit the button and she fired up. Sounded good XSept for the oil leak from the right engine cover, the exhaust leaks and a small fuel leak between carbs 3 and 4. Still have to unlock the rear brake caliper, Change all the fluids, fix all the little cuts and hacking's of the wire harness, sync up the carbs with some gauges and give her a bath and figure out a name. She ought to be ready to ride...When she's done I post some pics...

Congrats!! I still fondly remember the day I got Banshee to fire up for the first time. As I recall putting it then "The turd seems more worthy of polishing today."Life is what happens while your planning everything else!
When your work speaks for itself, don't interrupt.
