  • Tkat and his Wonder-Brace

    Hi all.

Have to give Tkat a couple of plugs here.

First, he's one of the nicest folks I've ever "met". I ordered a FB for my 78 and sent him a picture of my bike. He saw my "half-helmet" hanging off of it, sent me the brace and told me to keep my $$ and buy a better helmet!!! Can you believe that? (The check will be mailed tomorrow....better half forgot to mail it last week!)

Second, what a difference that brace makes. This is my fourth Eleven in 20 years and none have ever handled like this. I went for a ride Sunday afternoon (finally!) after putting it on and I thought I was on a new bike. Unbelieveable. Tkat, you're a genius. My Harley riding friends all said "Cool, that's pretty trick that brace is. Can you get me one?" (and yes, I can outrun them...bad. And BTW, a drag race is on between one of my loud mouth friends and his Rev-Tech V-twin "hot rod"and me. I'll let you know the outcome. As they say at NASA, "Confidence is high!")

    Thanks again Tkat.

    Amen, brother David!

I finally got around to putting my second Tkat brace on the 11 (my first is on my 750SF). As much difference as it makes on the triple, I honestly think it helped even more on the 11. Awesome work and well worth the $$$.

And I also have 2 sets of his horn/starter buttons on both Yammies...very nice work there also, and no more crumbling plastic under thumb.

I just got my first fork brace from tkat two weeks ago, put it on last weekend and took my bike from storage home. It was about a 20 mile drive the best I've had in the 3 years of owning the bike. It rode like smooth as silk and cornered like a crotch rocket. The best $85.00 i've ever spent on a bike. I called Tkat personally to thank him, and he is the nicest guy on the planet.

I have a different brace on mine but it made a world of difference in the handling. Stiffer fork springs are worth the money too.

I'm with you and I'd send him the check anyway.
