Race date

Wife wants me to take her to Ireland to see the outlaws, anybody know when they run that race. If I'm going to be in the area, I might as well do something that I'd like.

My wifes family have reunions every other year and the Ireland crowd always fly over here to meet and greet. Great bunch of riff raff. Last time it was in Ireland was twenty years ago. Last year was in Australia but the following one I believe is back in Ireland. I have a couple friends who still fly in the RAF (Tornado's) I doubt my HAI course is still valid but if I go over I'll see if I can get one of them to take me up for a lazy 5 or six G ride. That will be the only time I will be doing 200 mph on two wheels.(at rotation)

Be careful with the TT dates, I can't remember exactly what the rule is but goes something like .....the First Senior Race is held on the first Saturday of June. The problems happen as the June first Saturday rolls forward over a four year cycle then the fourth year TT is a week back from the previous year. This has caught out the Germans, a lot of visitors book next years TTs' Isle Of Man ferry when watching this years racing, if they book for the same dates on the wrong year the next year they arrive for practice week then go home as the racing week starts ....very disgruntled.

I visited the TT for years but have stopped a few years ago due to the high cost, now my daughter goes over with the Dan Stewart race team clicky, he's the top privateer racing the TT at the moment.

If theres one thing you need to do in life its visit the TT, the racing is mind blowing, like nothing I've ever seen.
