Good morning, ecstatic new XS1100 Special owner (79) just picked up my "parade bike" from an acquaintance who "just wanted it out of their garage"..

27,000 Km's on it, I put the new pods on it for now, the stock Air filter (if it was stock) was pretty nasty, I took the airbox off, but I would like to put it back once I determine what kind of air filter goes inside it...
needs a few things, the headlight is direct wired and the instrument lights are not functioning, I like to ride at night so this is problematic.
has a bit of a dead spot around 3000rpms and the fuel mileage could be better, but I really like owning a classic bike....1979 XS1100
