  • Rain (no snow)

I rode to work today, was raining in the AM. I'm riding tomorrow too. Supposed to rain hard all day and windy too. I've ridden almost every day to work. The only exception was 2 weeks ago when I rode my bicycle. Rained 2 of those days too.
Someone at work commented about me riding in the rain. I told them I probably ride more in the rain than most around here ride when it's dry (not as much as the PNWers tho).
Rain doesn't bother me at all. Glad it doesn't snow here (maybe my XL250R would see more miles then).

It's been raining a lot up here in the Portland, OR area but I don't ride in the rain unless I'm stuck. I'm so over due for a ride that I'm about to break that rule.

      Ride in the rain

Hey, guys, if you live in the PNW you had better enjoy riding in the rain. This is "wet leather country"
The only thing that bothers me about riding in rain is the bike clean up afterwords.

I've always ridden in the rain. I'm often dismayed with the fact that most people treat their motorcycles as toys rather than transportation. I ride year round in all kinds of weather, unless it is to slick to stand up. I have been able to save a lot of money because I don't have to buy cars as often. And it is fun to ride a motorcycle to work and boring in a car.

Does that mean you don't spend two hours cleaning/polishing for every hour you ride? It can see that you are definitely not a harley owner! The h-d owners that I know won't even ride if there is rain forcasted in the upcoming week! What a bunch of posers/phonies.

Around here you can tell when it gets to 60 degrees from the sound of the Hardleys. Most won't start when it's colder than 60.
