I celebrated my birthday by taking my ATV (The Griz) down to Ouray, Colorado and rode jeep trails for about 8 hours. Tomboy Basin, Governor's Basin, and Imogene Pass were all on the agenda. Had a great day, even though I got rained on for about 20 minutes.
I am working on the post for my blog page, complete with photos. It should be ready in a few days; I am still going through photos and getting captions on them. http://www.appleattic.net/blog
Tomorrow (the 10th) is my wedding anniversary; 38 years to SWMBO. Have the day off and we are going out to celebrate.
I have over 8K miles on the Connie so far this year so this is shaping up to be a higher-than-average season. (Normal for an entire year is about 7K.) I must say the Connie is better on tires than the XJ; I have about 16K on the front Michelin and around 12K on the rear Dunlop Elite 3. Both look good for at least the rest of the year.
Thanks again for the call-out!
