    Motorcycle name

So I was toying with Frankie, but my buddy who has been helping me get my 82 xj1100 running has named it Hydra, because "Once we fix one problem, another one rears its ugly head!"

Thats what friends are for lol. I lived in EP for a while myself. Hope you get all the problems resolved. I've been lucky so far but know I need to go over a few things too.

Actually live just across the river from EP in Shakopee, not sure how the city got chosen for the forum Replacing the rubber between the engine and carbs tomorrow, so hopefully won't be much beyond that to do, but might require carb clean/rebuild

I lived in Shakopee too for a while off Roundhouse Circle. My luck ran out with my bike this afternoon too so don't feel bad. **** happens. Anything I can learn will only help down the road.

          Hey there Patrick,

I lookup the IP address that is logged when folks use the CONTACT US link to register, and that's what showed up in the look up...Eden Prairie, not Shakopee, but I've editted your profile now to reflect the proper location!

I feel like the motorcycle name is like your spirit animal. The name chooses the bike.

It took almost five years for Alberta's name to find her. Both of us suffer from the blues during the rainy Seattle season, which is almost all year. I knew Alberta was a girl right off the bat because I wouldn't be riding any guys across the Western US for hours upon hours at a time, even though I am from Seattle...
              1990 Ninja ZX-10. It's the Silver Surfer. HI-YA!!

2006 Yamaha XT-225. Yep, I take it on the interstate. It's Blue Butt.

1982 Toyota 4x4. 22R Cammed, 38/38, 2" pipe, 20R head with OS valves, performance grind and other fun stuff. It's Blue RASPberry.

1969 Ford F-250 Camper Special resto project. 390 RV cam, Demon carb, Sanderson headers, 2 and a quarter pipes with Magnaflow mufflers. It's Blue Jay.

I agree that the name chooses the bike. I still have not chosen a name for mine. I just haven't found anything fitting yet.
