Mo - you know I'm not one to deliberately offend - was just posting too late to think straight - my family has it too and agree it is more challenging than most know and I don't do the direct care like you do.

What kind of ride is it? Or is it more of a "gathering"? Do they actually have a route where all the participants ride from point A to point B? Details please!

All I've been able to find is a few scant details from last year's ride.

If I can get some detailed info, I may even be able to organize a few other riders from the St. Louis area to ride up there together. It's only 3 hours away, and would make a good day trip.

Thanks for the links bug. That's a little better info than i offered up. I was wrong about the length of the ride I guess it takes less than three hours. I hear that there is a benefit auction after the ride. I have my bike on the trailer and we will be there for sure. I'm really looking foward to cruising some illinois country side. I hope to meet some of you guys. Im 6 foot 6 on a blue xj I should be easy to spot.

I plan to be there around 9am. I wasn't able to round up any other people to go with me from my local group. I'll keep an eye up/out for you.

I'm not a big picture-taker, but I did manage to snap a couple of shots at this ride. Here's an overview of the parkinglot before we took off:

                              And XJfan1's bike:

Then there was this... A helmet that should probably be mounted on a trophy stand - NOT on someone's head! I stood there staring at it for so long that the owner actually approached me and said, "That's what happens after sliding down the road at 100 mph."
