Women sure have a way of bringing you down. The latest-a woman i went out with for 2 years was recently arrested for eluding police and starting a high speed chase. She faces a multitude of charges and ended it with her after her Brother yelled at me for not supporting her. What she did was plain stupid. She basically threw the relationship in the toilet. But i will remain strong-learning to play the Telecaster and of course -riding!

BTDT Pete. I've been married one time and divorced three. No, not the same one.

I've completely lost my trust in womankind and decided that whatever I need from one I can hire one to do it and they'll go away afterwards. Minimum investment.

I enjoy living alone and doing what I want when I want and I don't owe anyone because of it. But, that's just me.

Some people I know, and I won't mention names, are making wedding plans and the last divorce ain't even paid for yet. DOH!

Sorry for your sadness, Oldyam. I still think that not all women are like that. On the other hand, my wife of 20+ years filed for divorce. While there's a bit of sadness there, had it not happened, I never would have picked up my SG, which I happened to get from a guy out near you in Lafayette, I believe.

Also, it's nice to see another xsive from the garden state. There aren't many of us.

Yes, the XS11 is rare in these parts. I like mine, however. I don't have the time to work on it as much as I would like, but I do get to ride it a bit. The riding out your way is MUCH better than riding around here; I live in Hackensack; park the bike in Paramus. I do get to ride into NYC quite a bit. It can be fun, but it can also be hell.

Sorry about your significant other experience. Sounds like you're better off now.

Let me know if you ever want to have a mini-XS11 rally.

Hey Oldyam. Hope you are doing ok there. Took me till the third marriage to find the right woman for me. I found one that was 45 (when we met), no kids and retired, this time... Best thing since sliced bread she is.
If you ever want to look, go to your nearest Walmart and see some of the monsters some guys have saddled themselves with. I know many of them are perfectly wonderful people but just think how you could have captured one of those beauties...lol.
Point is that if it was meant to be it will. For every door that closes another one opens. That is a favorite saying of my 98 yr old grandmother and it is very true if you think about it for a second or two.
