Local guy is selling a "1983 XJ1100". Does this belong to our XS/XJ stable or has he got the year wrong? I thought 1982 was the last year of manufacture for the XS/XJ line.

Other than the US version having a speedometer that reads in MPH and the Canadian version reads in KPH, the XJs are the same, '82 - '84. XJ was available in the US only in '82, but some leftovers were titled as '83s, and at least 1 person has a US '84 registration. No matter....all the same bike.Jerry Fields
