Most of the technical articles, such as those in the maintenance or repairs sections, were moved there a couple of years back when the forum first came into existence. Truth is a lot of those articles are actually much older than that, having been developed another one or two generations earlier in the life of the XSive community. Once in a while, another really good topic comes along and a new article is posted. All is takes is someone with a bit of time to pull the available information together and write it up so someone else can understand it. From there, one or more of us moderators gets involved in formatting it for the forum, checking it over in a testing area, then moving it 'into production'.
Since the forum started, there has been a lot of good information posted in the XS/XJ Discussion area, but it is a bit harder to find because there is so much of it. If you're interested in a particular topic, you might have some good luck with the search tab at the top of the page.
So, would you happen to have any ideas for another useful page?
We are always looking for input and new tips, but not too many people submit them. A lot of the tips are timeless and as Ken said most are way older than 2 years old. I have redone a few tips that no longer applied or needed up to date info. But most of them are still just as good today as they were 5-10 years ago. If you would like to update a tip or have new info to be added, or want to submit a new tip please feel free to send them to me or any of the other moderators.
