    Hey there DuWayne,

Sorry "WE" didn't see this until now! George was actually up there in Wmsburg today picking up a set of a H-D slipons from a guy on Craig's List. He had contacted me and I had replied, he dropped by here on his way back, and we went for a bit of a ride around Smithfield and such for an hour or so, about 90 miles. So....sorry we missed getting up with you!

You were kinda south of your normal stomping grounds weren't you??

About 150 miles from me but I was looking for moderate range runs to get me back in distance riding mode. I'm headed to Canada and needed a couple tune up rides for the bike and me...
Good buffet, ate so much i thought i was going to have to pull over and puke on the way home.
The 79 ran like a top & got 40 mpg. Me, well, i was beat... It was all I could do to ride to Rita's later for some itilian Ice.

        Damn!

I was just about 5 miles south of Capt. George's at around noon.
Picked up 2 harley mufflers off CL (FREE!). (May one day put them on my G, once the MAC mufflers finally rust thru)

Yeah, TC took me on a tour of the back roads of SE VA.
Not too many twisties around here, but he knows of a few.
Sunday was the longest time I've been on my bike in one day.
Now I know what Iron Butt feels like!
@ 7am, Rode to work. (30 miles) @ 11am, rode up to Williamsburg and back to TC's (65 miles).
Rode around with TC (another 90 miles) and 10+ miles back to my house around 4pm.
Close to 200 miles all day. I got sunburnt on my upper arms, but had a blast.
I couldn't believe it, but I got 39.5mpg on the trip with TC! I suppose going slower than 65 does have its advantages!

Can't wait to get all 4 of us "Hampton Roads XS11's" together for a small group ride. Heck, maybe not even a ride, but just a get together and group pic.

        "Hampton Roads XS11's":
Virginia Beach, George (GLoweVA) - cobbled together 80G ('Green Monster')
Chesapeake, Keith (Keithh) - nearly mint stock 79F
Hampton, John (Nightengale) - hardtailed 81H
        Portsmouth, T.C. (TopCatGr58) - Modified 81SH ('Zilla')

4 of the 7 cities represented. Need the other 3: Norfolk, Newport News & Suffolk. Williamsburg and all other areas near too.

150 miles and you were beat? I guess another Kentucky trip is out of the question, huh?

Keep an eye out in Canada. Their deer are bigger than yours!

I got the rotator cuff fixed in Feburary and have been limited on riding. Last two weekends were my first 100 plus mile days. I'm weenie.
