  • Must have been the XJ11

So here I am today, just finished putting in the 2nd set of carbs in the XJ1100, I
have the Dynojet stage 1 installed and have replaced all things rubber except the
    diaphragms & they're all fine.

It's definitely idling as it should, just like the 650 does without hiccups. So I
take it out to see how it does for MPG on I-95 & it's a beautiful day & now I'm
heading back to play a gig tonight at a dockside restaurant.

So here's one of these huge pickup trucks passing me slowly, the one with the back
seat for passengers. The guy on the passengers side in front gives me a thumbs
up after checking out the bike. I nod to him & wave. An opening in the traffic and
I pull into what now is a 3rd lane on the right, going up a hill.

I hear a woman squeal from the truck, I look over & here a Brunette is coming out
the right rear side window, arches her back & pulls her bathing suit apart in the
middle for me & jiggles just like Mardi Gras before going back in. I'm blowing her
kisses and immediately another squeal & a blonde comes out the other side (someone
inside must have been holding her), faces me, hesitates a second & pulls hers off
for what was maybe 5-6 seconds (not nearly long enough) and I'm still blowing kisses
    & waving in gratitude.

Amazing what a chick magnet an XJ11 is!

P.S., the above is all true...

      *Sigh....

In all my miles on the road on a bike, I've never once been flashed. I guess that officially makes me one ugly S.O.B...

Thinking I need to start carrying some cheap beads dangling somewhere so they get a hint? lol.
Try your hardest to be the kind of person your dog thinks you are.

You can live to be 100, as long as you give up everything that would make you want to live to be 100!

In my 61 years I've never been flashed like that before though most of us I suspect have gotten "lucky" more than once. I guarantee you though, if I weren't on this bike with someone in that pickup who appreciated my ride to inspire them, it'd never have happened.

Looking back, If I'da kept riding on instead of taking the exit I needed to take to get home, I might have been mooned & between that, the flashes & the great ride, that would have been the perfect trifecta.

See, there's always room for improvement.

Well, I was at woodstock and then there was a particular going away party for me in RI back when I was 25 that was, er... epic... but since then, this was it.

And... this latest flashing gift to me was indeed a beautiful thing and so were both of them, er.. collectively speaking that is... I polished the XJ11 today, she's definitely earned her keep you betcha!

Actually, that going away party was probably my #1 impossible but honest to God true memory of my whole life. Heh, I'd do it again. Oh yeah, but today it would probably kill me.
