Haha, yeah, wanted to have some fun and it was the only way I could think of to make it fair. Other bikes we raced were a '68 Honda CB160 and a '03 Suzuki Marauder. The only one I could consistently beat was the '03 Marauder.
haha nice I saw something kinda like that once between a corvette and a hot wheel on tv. The corvette was in netral and they set up a track for the hotwheel to go down a hill. Cant remeber who one but was pretty cool.
Ah yes,
you have re-invented the good ol' "slow bike race".
Used to be a standard event at bike rallies back in the day.
We had to disqualify the trials bikes, their riders would roll off the line and stand on the pegs unmoving until everyone else had touched town.

Yeah, back in the day that was one of the things at MC rodeos. Now I practice going through town without touching down. sometimes I can go for hours in town without touching down. Timing the traffic lights is the key and slow rolling to the line.

Hey GTXS,
That was a Mythbuster's episode, but they had some troubles keeping the hotwheels cars on the tracks for the length of the race! But the hotwheels won because they had less mass, so they accelerated much faster than the car for the same distance covered. But I think the corvette did finally end up going faster once a certain distance could be travelled. IIRC !
I'll have to go to their website and review that episode to be sure!

When I went threw motorcycle safty course in the Navy they had a 4 inch line 50 feet long that you had to stay on no feet down no stall bike and they had a time limit. Your little race is a good training for balance and control good to see a skill chalenge that does not involve more speed than skill.
To fix the problem one should not make more assumptions than the minimum needed.
