  • HerosHighwayRide

On Saturday I went on the HerosHighwayRide to support our(Canadian) troops. 200km to get there for an 11am start and 200km for the ride.
iIn past years GaryC and I have done this together. He was not able to go this time. I arrived on site at Trenton by 10AM and registered. The picture is about 1/2 the bikes that eventually left from this lot.Plus the first 200 were in another lot.

Did not see another XS. Did see a HondaCBX and Honda 550/4
One guy came by to tell about his XS,now rides a Victory.

      Patriot Guard

I ride with the Patriot Guard Riders for funerals for fallen soldiers and I have seen a few rides with miles of bikes, probably lots more than 200. Sometimes on the freeway it becomes a real problem for other traffic, and you can see the line of bikes for miles.

My hats off to you (and anyone else) that supports the young men serving in the military!

We just did the 6th Annual Ride for Troops yesterday with a total of 412 bikes.... and yes it is true, bikes as far as the eye could see in front of us and behind us!
