      On the topic of interesting bikes;

      I'm a man ruled by passion more so than logic, which is important to know because when I saw the about to be mentioned bikes yesterday I reacted like a Japanese schoolgirl on a field trip.

      I went to Hinshaw's motorcycles with my old man yesterday. Besides being a major candystore in it's own right, they happen to have probably over a million dollars worth of vintage, immaculate classic bikes from all ages. They have not only one, but TWO pristine CBX's!

      Now, some of you older XSives might not think that's very cool, but the CBX was extinct before I was a twinkle in my daddies eye. They just aren't out there. Seeing two perfect models was simply amazing! The transverse inline six, what a stupidly awesome thing to see! They also had an interesting metallic blue Norton 750, a 70-something Goldwing with 2k miles on it, a CX500 Turbo, blah and blah.

      The salesman tried to fire up one of the CBX's for me, this one had a true six-pipe exhaust! Alas, but for the battery had died! To have heard that sweet sweet melody...

      I also scoped out the '12 Yamaha Super Tenere, an adventure bike with a 1200cc inline twin for power. Awesome bike, made to go up against the BMW GS line. Traction control, ABS, wowzers.

      The old man picked up a used '93 Suzuki DR250 bored to 350 with a luggage rack and desert tank. Even comes complete with corny 1993 graphics!
      1990 Ninja ZX-10. It's the Silver Surfer. HI-YA!!

      2006 Yamaha XT-225. Yep, I take it on the interstate. It's Blue Butt.

      1982 Toyota 4x4. 22R Cammed, 38/38, 2" pipe, 20R head with OS valves, performance grind and other fun stuff. It's Blue RASPberry.

      1969 Ford F-250 Camper Special resto project. 390 RV cam, Demon carb, Sanderson headers, 2 and a quarter pipes with Magnaflow mufflers. It's Blue Jay.
