Hey, just 'cuz you sold the XS does NOT give you the right to go away! You are always welcome here, and I'm sure the blokes in AU don't mind a "newer" bike around on the rides!

+1. Don't go away. I haven't had an XS in over a year, and this place tolerates my two wheeled fantasies famously. A great bunch here. Can't wait to hear about the first ride reports on the 'Busa. For sure a step up in both the speed and handling departments!
Healthy is merely the slowest rate at which you can die

Some people will tell you that slow is good - and it may be, on some days - but I am here to tell you that fast is better. I’ve always believed this, in spite of the trouble it’s caused me. Hi Pete,
good on ya that you got a 'busa but the price of an XS11 wouldn't keep a real man in beer & birds for too long so why sell?
What sorta wimp can get by with only one bike, eh?

thanx guys, id like to stick around, ive been coming
here nearly every day for the past 7 years, id think
              id be lost without it.

thanx ray, they're a good bunch of blokes on the aussie site as
well, so ill be hanging around there too.

fred, i can only love 1 thing at a time, :-)

the bikes been fighting me for the past couple of years and
was going to cost a small fortune to do what i wanted
to do with it, (full engine rebuild, front suspension) not including
what ive spent on it already.
so figured i mite as well put that money towards a more modern sports bike.

Be careful..Those things are crazy fast. It's not a XS and will put you on your arse in a flash. I can't imagine riding anything faster than my FZ1!
                  Good luck and be safe!

Sorry to here you're giving up on XS's Pete, I enjoyed the craic with you on UK XS forum. I am jealous though, I was drooling over a black Hayabusa in our work bike shed today, fantastic bit of kit. Take care on it.
