It looks like you folks are better at putting the XS bikes together than we are! Both the bikes and the group. It appears to have been a memorable event. Lovely machines!

Good to see y'all got a good rally together. The thing is, you do it once and you want to do it again.....and again.....and again.

Hope y'all had a great time. It looks like you did.

No XJ's in any of those pics. The 4th put is a newer xjr 1300 though.

That's why I was asking. It's the only one that COULD be mistaken but it doesn't look anything like an XJ really.

Some good video Bryan. Those roads in Australia look almost as straight as the ones here in Oklahoma or Kansas. Looks like you had a good time and that's all that really matters.

Sucks Christians bike died. Did he figure out what happened?

Xtian's bike.... no resolution as yet.... still waiting on transport from Bourke to Sydney
Straight roads - once you get off the east coast and over the Great Dividing Range the country flattens out a bit here.... The altitude of some of the western towns we rode through is only 160 meters above sea level
this is a typical bit of our west

                            Hi Bryan,
I will try and answer this one. Yes and No
We share the North American continent with Canada USA and Mexico. I do not know of any Mexican XSives. This coming week end in the US is Memorial week end where they recognize/ pay homage to their Veterans ( Like your ANZAC Day)
It has become a tradition to hold XSEast on this week end. This year we are going to Ohio. In other years we have been to Virginia West Virginia Vermont Pennsylvania New York and Ontario ( Canada) Attendess at this years XSEast are coming from Georgia Colorado Pennsylvania New York Ontario Ohio Maryland Virginia and probably some places I have missed.
This year there is also a MOM rally in San Antonio Texas.on the same week end.
The west coast has rallies too. There have been gatherings in the Rockies Mountains too. Members have crossed the continent in every direction to attend events on "the other side"
Back in February when half the continent was buried under snow some went to Key West the southern most tip of Florida.

Hope that helps you understand a bit about what we do get up to.

5 hours flying time between Brisbane and Perth....
