  • They can't see you!

Here's something I found from the MSF website.
I thought it would be good to add to TC's: "Yes, You/We ARE Invisible!! Part1" Thread.

that's just stupid,of course when you concentrate on just one thing, the things around it are going to disappear.Your not gonna concentrate on them. That is why, the first thing they teach you in driving school BE AWARE OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS! I drive truck and my head never stays still, mirrors, windshield, guages.oh and radio p example:how many times have you watched tv,and your wife says something to you and you never even heard her? same concept.

              Hey Folks,

I saw that link a while back, and it's entertaining, and the physiology is true. The human eye actually has a built in mechanism to wiggle it just a little even when you are trying to hold it still and stare, so that things won't disappear so easily. IF the exact same photons hit the exact same sensors in the retina, then those receptors don't have enough time to recharge their chemical necessary to receive and react to more photons to send new signals to the brain, and so everything in your vision would disappear.

The spinning pattern is constantly moving, so it's stimulating different sets of the receptors as it moves, so the brain keep getting "NEW" signals, so they stay visible, but the stationary dots are stimulating the same group and color of receptors continuously, and so they use up their chemical and/or fire immediately when they do get recharged, but not necessarily all at the same time, etc., and so the yellow dots eventually fade away. But as soon as you blink(moves the eye upward under the eyelid, and then back down again once reopens stimulating other receptors near the location) or move your view/gaze slightly away from the center, fresh receptors are stimulated and the yellow dots reappear!

Similar affect can be simulated by drawing an american flag, but color the star field Yellow with BLACK stars, and the red stripes Cyan, then stare at it for 30 seconds, you can blink, but keep staring at the same position, then look at a white piece of paper....the Yellow receptors chemicals are used up...WHITE stimulates ALL of the receptors the same amount, but with the red receptors chemicals depleated, the complimentary colored receptors fire much more, and the star field will appear as BLUE against the white paper...same for the green stripes, they will turn RED!!!

              Just remember, we are invisible!
