  • jerry's photos going away

After many years, my Apple account is changing. Apple is dropping support for Gallery pages and iDisk. Idisk is on-line storage for photos and other media. Over the last several years I have had photos in some of my posts, and all have been stored on iDisk. As of the end of this June I cannot add any more photos, and those that are there will probably disappear.

This will leave gaps in many of my old posts. While I have a new place to park photos and other media, I am not going to go back and re-do the links in the old posts.

If anyone ever needs or wants some of those old photos, contact me and I will send them or I will create a new post with photos in it.

Same with some of the old XS 11 rally photos...I'll be downloading them before the service goes away but I don't know if or when I will recreate them on a new location. New rallies will be hosted from my web page at http://www.appleattic.net. The 2011 Colorado Rally is already there, under the "Toys" page. If anyone wants copies of these photos, individually or as a collection, let me know and I'll set you up with a CD or other media.

Anyway, if you go back through old posts and my photos come up blank, you know the reason why.

    oh no!!

HI Jerry, Many of us here at xs world will miss seeing those one of a kind pics that bring back so many memories. If there is any way to maybe group the old rallies into an online area to view, the cheers will be numerous I would occasionly view your time and effort photos of all the rallies just to see who is who. I think a lot of us here want to see the bikes and associate them with the owners and the rallies. So, here is one member begging you to manage the old pics into any kind of format to see them. I can guarantee, there will be many times in the future, current, past, future xs members will Love to see the memories. Hope all is well Jerry, your Xj and you had mucho memories. I still see you and your Xj, trailer and all, in many of those pics, enjoying the world of two wheels. Take care,,,,,,,Mike in Sun DIego
