New Job in Pittsburgh PA
I am being sent to Pittsburgh, PA for an extended project. 3 weeks on and 1 week off, am debating on bringing my bike. Will have to truck, company requires I drive their truck at work. Are there any XSives in this area or should I leave my bike at home and ride one week a month?

Very late March is usually safe to start thinking about riding. Snow is about gone by then. Daughter lives there, I enjoy riding down from northern PA to visit in the summer. South of there is some nice riding, and further south is WV, great riding, and there are a few less hectic but fun rides north of there also.
In the city itself it is not much fun riding. Typical city traffic, everyone wants to go somewhere and be there right now and you are usually in their way...Marty in NW PA

I used to live in Pittsburgh, great town! There are some great roads outside of town. In town, watch for cobblestones and trolley tracks.Comment
