    Ride plans for Sunday

    Well.... SWMBO birthday is tomorrow, and mothers day is Sunday. Asked her "what do you want for your Birthday?" She replies "I want one of them helmets like I bought you for your birthday" This we can do!

    "what do you want for Mothers Day?" "It's gonna be high 70's in Long Beach... I wanna go to the beach for lunch" before I can say anything else she pipes back up with "Lets take a bike over, the kids can stay home and wash my car!"

    and that's why I married her!

    Will post pictures of our ride Sunday night when I get home....

      Nice, Don! Which ride are you taking, you think?

      My wife wants to ride on the back of mine so bad, but no helmet. She's not a mother yet either, so no excuse to buy her one for Mother's Day. I'm thinking about getting her a Scorpion full face like I have, I got it for $39 on closeout but it's the wrong time of year to be buying gear .

      I did buy my 63 year old dad a helmet. He used to have a bunch of bikes when he was in his 20s, and steals mine every time I end up at my parents' house.

        We will probably take "Old Man" I had some more Carb tuning to do after our trip up river a few weeks ago. I think I got it all locked down. So we need to get him out and stretch his legs and see if I got it right this time.

        I'm sure SWMBO would love to take "Izzy" over.... I'm just not too into eating a head wind in the chest for 110 miles @ 70 mph all the way to the coast. I need to get a tall windshield for her. The short little thing it came with does nothing except upset the air right into my head. Feels like my helmet is in a paint shaker above 60. So it is on the shelf in the garage...

          Nice! Though SWMBO would likely enjoy those things too, she'd never TELL me that's what she wanted. I have to make it up on my own... You've got a keeper, that's for sure!
