    Von Dutch VW powered motorcycle

American Pickers purchased this unique bike. I had never heard of Von Dutch (Kenny Howard). In 1955 he built this bike. A VW car engine, Moto Guzzi forks, Honda gas tank and a Harley frame. I think this bike looks fantastic!

I saw the episode last night. It was nice to see a little history on the man, showing what he did and who he influenced. Seeing poseurs wearing Von Dutch shirts while having no idea who he was is beyond annoying.

It was cool that Big Daddy Roth had owned the bike right after Von Dutch, and the title was still in his name! Rat Fink baby!
