After looking for almost a year I have found a new orignal seat for my XS1100 Special. It had a Mustang king/queen seat on it.
If anyone would be interested in the Mustang they could have it for what it cost me to recover it plus shiping. I don't want to make any money off it. If no one on the board wants it, it goes in the attic. I can e-mail photos if you want

V65 vs XS1100

There is no contest, the V65 will smoke the XS. But that said, IMHO the XS is a better ever day rider. The V65 is a brute. What it does well is go like you had a rocket strapped to your butt.It is more top heavy and doesn't handle as well as the XS. I have set the V65 up for touring and it is great for that. ( except for the small gas tank) All said and done I wouldn't get rid of either one. But if I had no choice, it would be very hard.
