Just because I like the 11 I also like trains and watch some you tube videos of them.Well watching this one this morning at the 1hr 10min 4second mark I see an 11 for a second parked next to the tracks in Glascow Mt and I thought he might be a member here ...

Yep, it looks like a Special ... video is not quite clear enough to see which year, though. My guess would be an SG ...

Phil, yuppers I do like the rails.Be going camping next to them tonite,big campfire and cook out.Always fun.I take Amtrak somewhere every winter except for this past and this coming year.A few problems.

Sure enough an XS11. When I have the time I will watch the whole thing. Someone like you who likes to ride the rails. Cost to coast in little more than 2 hours....

We need to start up a thread called...UJM FRIDAY where we post pictures of UJM'S..11's or not,KAW,Susuki,Honda. Back in the day there were a lot of good looking well made made machines.

Sounds good to me! So many great UJM's from the late-60's/70's/early-80's to pick from, too!

I am sure I did...it is easy to make friends while on the road if in my van or bike.If I knew then what I know now...
People are friendly when they know you are traveling alone,they feel sorry for you or what ever.I saw it three weeks ago when I went to see a friend in Batesville IN on his way to Sturgis at the campground.People stopped by to ask questions and to just chat and offer suggestions about places to eat or see..it was wonderful.I think people just wanna help,hard to explain. Nick lives in Jupiter FL and went 150 out of his way to see me..now how cool is that.
