new diy shop in san diego

My friend and his brother have started a new business in SD . It's a full metal wood laser shop where you join by the month and do all the cool projects you want . Also if you don't know how they have classes . Check it out its called maker place and they have a website.

We have TWO of those up here! One near San Jose/Palo Alto area, and one in Santa Cruz. I'm thinking of taking a class or two, just to hone the skills.

I helped in the construction phase so they hooked me up with a three month pass and I'm trying to figure out what I want to do . First in line is paint for the old girl and I also want to make a book shelf for my kids room . The possibilities are endless

Do the book shelf FIRST, as it keeps SWMBO happy! Then go on to the metal working side, and get bike stuff done. Oh, almost forgot, HAVE FUN!

Well I'm doing my shop orientation today at 7 pm its required and I guess I will have to sign some waivers .
