• Posting pics......ARGH.....

I used to be able to do this, but for the life of me I can't find the manage attachments button, and clicking the Insert Image icon and pasting the URL doesn't work for me. What am I doing wrong, and sorry in advance.

Put you pictures in a picture hosting site (I use Photobucket). Then hover over the picture that you want to post and then click and copy the IMG Code then past in your post.

I can provide a link to the Photobucket album, but cannot get an image to appear in the post. In the past there was a Manage Attachments button, but I cannot find it. Very frustruating.

Eric, you don't want to be viewing the individual picture; go to the album page that shows all the pics in that album. Then put the cursor over the pic you want and a 'box' will appear around the pic. In the lower right corner, there will be a smaller white box with a 'IMG.' code in it; put the cursor over that, then left click and it will blink 'copied'. Then use the 'insert image' icon in the post header, and when you get the 'script prompt', right click and paste the URL...

ok Steve, I was viewing the pic in it's own page, so let me try it again.....

                [IMG][/IMG]

Ah.....there we go. Thanks to both of you for getting me straightened out. I guess that the procedure has changed from the instructions in the FAQ's, as there is no Manage Attachments button involved.

Don't use the "insert image" icon in the post header, as that's what leaves the ugly before and after the picture. The button on photobucket puts everything you need into the clipboard, just put a blank line into the message and paste the contents of the clipboard into that blank line using cntr-v.

Ok, thanks Cy. Obviously, working on Eleven's isn't the only thing that I need help from you guys.... A coffee table full of brake calipers is my current challenge. Watching some racing as I work. I don't normally watch NASCAR (NHRA is my thing), but it looks like a mess at Daytona right now. Jet fuel and diesel and Oil Dry oh my......

Yeah, that incident could have been tragic. Looked like Montoya's tranny or rear end locked up. Having support vehicles on track while drivers play catch up is a BAD idea. I guess keeping the cars on the same lap is the priority.

Lot more people watching this race 'cause of Danica. Wrecked 3 times this weekend.
