  • New guy needs help with parts

Great site, you folks have already been great help. I resently rescued a 79 XS100 SF from a barn, charged the battery and it cranked and runs. With the help from ths site I Have already rebuild the front brakes, the Petcocks, and have the tranny apart wainting on 2nd and 5th gear parts.
My plans are to restore to its original, now this is where I need some more help. I need help locating the following.

    1. Left side cover
    2. Chrome seat rail
    3. Exhaust and mufflers

    Parts

BigBird, I have had great sucess locating part's on eBay.I keep a running search under XS1100, XS 1100(notice the space), and XS Eleven. I have seen about every part you would need. Also check out Bike Bandit on line. They have OEM part's as well as after market. Plus the part blowup diagram's are great for identification.

Good luck on the grab bar!!! If you find one better not skip it cause you might not see another for a good while. Keep watching ebay. HTH

          Also check www.ebay.de
Its in german, but since these parts are not too heavy, you can afford the postage to wherever...

If it doesn't have an engine, it's not a sport, it's only a game.
