  • Pontiac Ventura

Anyone got a workshop or owners manual for 4 door 1968 Pontiac Ventura they'd be willing to part with? Friend of mine just bought one with 22000 original miles on it. He wants to do some engine tweaking but neither him nor I are familair with the 400 engine. Very familair with Chevy 400's, and 350's for that matter, but the ponty is a different animal completely.

Might be tough to find.... there's this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1968-Pontiac...item5d31b63cf1 ... but you may run into the problem of your version being different from the US model. Supposedly, the Ventura was a trim option on the Catalina (at least here), yours may or may not be the same.

The other thing to watch out for whether or not the Australian year/models corrospond to the same year US models. I know the US makers would send outdated tooling out of the US and continue building some models for years after they were long-gone here...

Send them a message. Often they will if you set it up beforehand.

If not let me know, we can work something out.

I f you don't mind the extra postage, I'm sure any number of people here will let you ship it to them and then forward it to you for the postage.

Both sellers will ship international to NZ ($11 for the CD, 'by weight' for the paper copy) if you read down on their listing a bit. I expect the paper copy might be a bit pricey to ship, so you have to decide if the convenience is worth the money.
