  • Bored, so I'm painting on the ceiling...

Mrs T99ford has decided we need to do some interior decorating. Knowing my airbrushing bent, she suggested this idea to use my skills for her in the house. Not really sure how i feel about it, but here we are so far...

Still got a couple of angels to paint into it, but I'm getting close. Anyway, certainly out of the ordinary, and you know how i like things out of the ordinary...
Healthy is merely the slowest rate at which you can die

Some people will tell you that slow is good - and it may be, on some days - but I am here to tell you that fast is better. I’ve always believed this, in spite of the trouble it’s caused me. Being shot out of a cannon will always be better than being squeezed out of a tube. That is why God made fast motorcycles, Bubba….Hunter S. Thompson

    Very interesting, you have skill!

Think, the sistine chapel could have been painted way faster if only Michelangelo had an airbrush...

I think this was from Monty Python:-
How much to paint a ceiling?
And it took him four sodding years?

Man it took me a bit to see that as a ceiling, looked kinda like plexiglass on a table. Maybe I need to back off the recreational......nah, bad idea.

Well Rome wasn't built in a day and all that, but I dare say you have made alot better headway on that ceiling than a 16th century Italian.

I had an art teacher once told me I had alot of artistic talent in me, cause I had yet to let any of it out.

Thanks for the kind words! One of the art masters i am not--this is kind of crude compared to them. Imagine if those guys had had an airbrush, though!

Interestingly enough, I was 'recreating' while painting this. Maybe that releases the 'artist' in me?? Christian Brothers VS brandy, yum! Calms the hand tremors, too!

Hmm, seems to be missing something. You ever see the cartoon where Doonesbury is offering suggestions to Michelangelo up on the scaffold painting nymphs on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel?

Lol! I told my wife that if I was going to do this silly project, all the creatures would be asexual. The nymphs donthave me scared, but my airbrush don't do boy "parts"!
