Format Question

In the other forum I belong to, similar to this one, when someone posts on a thread, that thread gets sent to the top, so to speak. It becomes the first thread you see in the list of threads, so its easy to find the active threads, and then if you want to browse, you can scroll down and view olders threads. Is there any reason why not to do that with this forum. Its just kind of handy.

I have seen that too on a VERY small minority of boards. It's incredibly confusing. I don't think it makes sense to read someone's reply before you read the original post.

hey jp,
I think he is refering to the thread going to the top of the heading it is in. you still see the question before the replies. that system keeps the active threads at the top, the inactive ones at the bottom. It is fine the way it is.

Actually, this forum does that. Except for announcements
and 'stickies' are always at the top, followed by the most
recently-posted to threads in chrono order.
