  • My Accident Damage

Well, here is the damage on my bike from the accident. I've started ordering parts so I can get it fixed and back on the road.

I certainly hope you find all the parts and are compensated for them. Mostly, I hope you're feeling better.

      +1 what Marty said.

Cy, I have no spare left-hand mirrors and I already gave away the fairing mount from my '79 Special. The only left-hand engine covers I have, one from the wrecked XJ and the one on the '79F, are in worse shape than the one you have on Brutus.

Is there anything else you need?

        Cy,

I have a left hand mirror but it is the rectangular one form a Special not the round. That timing cover was part of the damaged pieces on Thunderstruck. It went to the scrap yard in pieces. Unfortunately I do not even own a fairing or bags like that let alone the parts you need.

Cy, I've got a set of round standard mirrors that are 'servicable'... the glass is good, chrome should clean up decently, but the black plastic is heavily weathered. A sand/paint would make them look decent, but they'll never look OEM-new. Pics if you want, yours for postage if you want them....

                Hi Cy,
NOS, still in Mfr's carton. I paid $30 at a swap meet. That plus postage OK?
                PM me your postal address.
