      AYR Riders

50 dgrees has been my cut-off since about the time I turned 50.
I used to go to Muskegon Mi frequently when working. That's serios lake effect country. There was a guy there that road a HD to work every day of the year. Sometimes I had trouble getting a big truck going in that snow, but there was his bike in the parking lot.

Re: AYR riders, I have a feeling that Yorba Linda has a little warmer weather year round than we do.

Rovers the only guy I know that rides in winter. But, i thinkonly on sunny days.

St. Louis has preserved an old car bridge across the Missisippi called the chain of rocks bridge. Went there yesterday to see the eagles. Walked 1/2 mile to the middle of the bridge, 60 feet above the water, the wind was gusting to about 35 mph and the temp was about 30 degrees. Walking into the wind, I thought my face was going to fall off! On the way back, with the wind, it was just ok. No eagles, nasty weather, and the Pack lost, total and complete bummer!!!

I'm fortunate enough to spend the winter in Arizona and stay the hell out of another Michigan winter where my home town just got another 8 inches of snow and it was -6 degrees. I've been able to get some riding in but this may also be the last year I can afford to come out so I'm enjoying it while I can. The picture I'm enclosing is looking towards the California side. of the Colorado River. The bridge in the background connects Parker, AZ with Earp, CA. (Yes of Wyatt Earp fame).

Yeah if I had my ATV finished(another project) I might not complain so, maybe next year, I'd like to have a nice snowmobile, but here, there's not alot of places to ride unless you load them up and drive pretty far, and Ohio's weather is just too unstable, 54degrees today after all the cold and snow we had, now just a muddy mess waiting for the next drop in temps.
