    this is the shed I locked the Bike in Dec of 2002 a month after my Dad Passed away. I never looked @ it again untill aug of 2009

    still where I left it

    1979 XS1100SF "Old Man" bought by my Dad brand new in 79, customized in 80 with Vetter, Standard tank, and touring seat. I inherited in 02 when Dad passed. Been riding it since 09. No resto, bike is a survivor...

    2007 RoadStar 1700 Midnight Silverado "The Black Pearl" Cobra Slash-downs, K&N filter. More mods to come

    Definitely a 79 Special with a standard tank swapped on, looks like it might be the Venturer tank even.

    Very nice bike and lots of love went into it for sure! Enjoy it and the memories it gives you.

      Does look larger than a standard tank. Hope it gives you good new memories to share with the old!!

          when I pull the tank to check the valves I'll see if theres any badging on the tank. it holds 5 Gallons.

            i want to say the seat is saddleman after market.. don't quote me on that. I know I've seen the saddlemans that are still porduced to this day and it looks alot the same.

              as you can see in the picture of me riding it i still have one of the helmets he had done with the bike. the whole dome is airbrushed to match the murals on the bike. it looks like and old "CHiPs" helmet... all i'm missing is some chromed aviators
