  • Anybody else having trouble...

    ....with the UK parts site?

    The last couple of times I've gone on there to look up parts, it has defaulted to the E model, no matter which model is selected. It's not anything I've done as far as I can tell, but kinda limits it's usefulness...

    '78E original owner - resto project
    '78E ???? owner - Modder project FJ forks, 4-piston calipers F/R, 160/80-16 rear tire
    '82 XJ rebuild project
    '80SG restified, red SOLD
    '79F parts...
    '81H more parts...

    Other current bikes:
    '93 XL1200 Anniversary Sportster 85RWHP
    '86 XL883/1200 Chopper
    '82 XL1000 w/1450cc Buell, Baker 6-speed, in-progress project
    Cage: '13 Mustang GT/CS with a few 'custom' touches
    Yep, can't leave nuthin' alone...

      Have you registered as a user? It will only give you the E until you do.

      Until you register as a user there are some restrictions.
      - part number searches will be limited to the first 50 matches
      - you won't be able to set a default model for searches
      I think this must be new as I also used to be able to search different models without registering.

        Okay..... I take that back. I just tried and it looks like somethings gone wrong.

            It's been defaulting to the 'E' for me too.
            About a week now.
            Before I didn't have any issues with it, so something is up.

              I have noticed when I forward a link to friends, the thread part of the link does not make it. They just get a link to the main page.

                It's back to normal now; they were moving the site to new servers. Got a nice note from Brian (the site admin)....
