  • A video I made from a trip I took this summer

Well, I just love my XS and I wanted to share it. It is getting colder hear in WI but I miss riding it; I have put it into winter storage a couple weeks ago. This winter I am going to either get a different engine, or keep the current and replace 1st gear in it since it is skipping under a hard load and get it welded since it has a crack in the case.

It is going to be a long winter for me, but here is looking back to some of our memories.

I guess you could call that video an "Encounter of the XS kind" !

Lots of nice sweepers on your rides there! Also, very clear video, what type of camera did you use, others may want to know for future video documentation.

Cool views and scenery except when some hack let a tent get int he way of the view of the XS11. Looks like a great trip and lots of fun!
Life is what happens while your planning everything else!

        lol.

I used a Casio Ex-FC100 on a flexible tripod bent around my bars. The vibration was pretty bad and it effected the quality. I had to speed up the video to smooth out the vibration in it.

I am planning on taking another trip this summer and I would like to have some type of camera mounted in or on the helmet because there is a lot that was missed from the fixed camera. I haven't really looked into the available options yet.

Here is another video going through Yellowstone. I was pretty tired after that ride, I think I put on 16 hours. That wasn't the longest ride though. I rode from one side of Utah to the coast of California.... 1,000+ miles in 23 hours straight. Iron butt.

          Cliffhanger

Uh, is there a Part II?

When last we saw our intrepid hero he was stopped for a summer snow storm in the middle of nowhere!
