    Yep, Winter is Here...

    Let's see... in the last 4 days we've had several inches of snow, torrential downpours (which did melt all the snow), minor flooding, and high winds resulting in two power outages. I'd say winter is here.

    High winds are forecast for tomorrow too; hopefully SWMBO will get t-day dinner cooked before the power goes out again...

      My condolences... While the trees here are just now losing their last leaves the temperature has been anything but winter..although it is supposed to get colder...like 50s' to 60s' during the day but down to the 30s' at nite. Hoping we stay on the mild side this season...

          Yep, winter's here I can tell. Everybody's flyin' in from up north (snowbirds). 85 today, 75 tomorrow. I'll make the best of it

              Winter?

              Yesterday we had 60 dgrees, sunshine, no wind. WOW!
              Today a little crappier, rained this AM. Now it's about 50 & partly sunny, & windy.
              BUT! Whatever hit Steve is schedued to be here next week. Mayby up to several inches of s---. temps in 30's & windy.

              I guess it had to come sometime.
              3 years ago it started s---ing in Oct & was here til April.

              Happy Thanksgiving again.
