I watch moto gp and was shocked on Sunday after simoncelli was hit by Colin Edwards and Rossi. I saw Marcos helmet bouncing down the road and that means his helmet must have got ran over. It looked like Rossi hut Marco s head. They were probably going about 80 MPH when they hit him. It is very sad.

From watching the video, Simoncelli was already off the bike and sliding, looking quite unconcious if not already dead before his bike slid over into the other two. The bike closest to Simoncelli's hit him, the other guy was not even close from the looks of it.

Anyway you look at it, a bad deal for sure.

simincelli did look unconsious but not sure why,
there was no continuity in the video, 1st part
showed him low siding it then it cuts to another vid
of edwards slamming into him, the other rider was
rossi, but yeah not a pretty site by any means.

Unfortunately I have HD and a large TV I was so shocked when I watched it I kept replaying it in slow motion you can see where Edwards hits his bike and part of him but if you look between Rossi and Edwards you can make out Marcos body laying on his back and it looks like Rossi clips his head. And runs off the track. I kept thinking there's no way he could have survived that.
I was looking forward to more races with him. At first he reminded neodymium Johny Rhea always causing wrecks or crashing himself. But the last few races he really stepped up. Such a loss!
