Got back from north Georgia Sunday. First long distance ride in twenty years. Had a blast! Worried about the Eleven, did fine, sheared a carrier/tail bag bolt clean off (squeaked a lot) and had one carb flood then refuse to feed fuel for about 10 miles. It cleared up by itself, ran great the rest of the trip. 1300 miles wasn't far enough, surprised myself, thought my butt had gotten more tender over the years. Even got to ride in snow. Oh yea, anyone know what the wind chill factor of 28 degrees ambient is at 70 MPH? Never mind, I don't really want to know!

Onya Skip! The Xs will look after itself on trips like this. The point is, did you enjoy it? Next question, are you ready for another? I'll bet you are! While you still can, get out there and do it. Time is short and the roads are long.79 SF Special W/ Stock all original motor @ 384,000klms
