Then again I cut my teeth initially in Arizona and then moved to Washington, one with the heat, then to learn to ride in the rain cause if you didn't you didn't ride .

Well, we always said in Tacoma that we got 65 days of uninterrupted sunshine per year. Sometimes one of those days would fall on the 4th of July.

Brutus isn't bothered by the heat at all. He just doesn't like heavy rain. He shares that characteristic with his little sister (well, she used to have that problem, before I replaced the plug wires, caps and then coils) so I know what I have to do.

I'll admit to being lucky mostly, but our NORMAL summers run 110-115 for weeks at a time, but we've been have unusually cool summers for a few years now, and getting spoiled. And to make it worse, it's NOT a dry heat unlike the desert heat, being on the river, we get 40% humidity to go with that, which makes it worse, or course I don't know how close to the gulf you are, you could have worse humidity than that. In Az when I was there we got the temps, but the humidity ran 10 to 15%, so as long as you got enough water you were usually good.

That's the beauty of Washington state; we've got just about every type of climate..... Port Angeles? You must have hit a bad year; that area is normally one of the drier areas west of the Cascades. Go east a bit (on the other side of the Olympics) and you're in the wettest place in the continental US....
