Thanks to all who have come back. The new forum is really quite nice. Still working on some things but fully functional.

As I said repeatedly before, it is not intended to replace .com or even compete, simply an alternative. Sorta like a chat room

Y'all are welcome to come visit XS11.org

I see it as more of an augment to .com. There are types of discussions that we don't have here, that take place over here, more like a bunch of guys standing around in the garage making fun of each other while one poor guy is working on his bike. While this is a more family friend crowd. So its frankly more what type of conversion you feel like having at the moment.

That and if you want to talk to Ivan, that's where you have to go cause he won't come over here anymore.

I wouldn't know since I've not been able to make it to a rally as of yet. So far either the work schedule or finances have made that not work (or the two together). I'm hoping that by next summer things will have worked out such that I'll be able to make at least one rally, but we'll have to see how things work (pretty much all but one rally are one the wrong side of the country for me).

Going to a rally is kinda like getting married. If your waiting until your ready it'll never happen.

It's not being ready, I've been ready two years in a row, but didn't have money for gas to get there, and couldn't get the time off work to go. Unless the job situation gets better before next summer, it's not looking better for next year yet either, I may have to sell something to be able to go (and I may well do so to be able to go too).

I'm also hoping to put together a MOM type rally in my area late summer next year. Things got too hectic this year, but I'm hoping to be able to pull things together by around next august or so.

Keep the fluff coming! Anyone interested in knowing about .org will already know. This is starting to sound like a McDonalds Commercial now, every 15 seconds we see an update. .Org has it's place for many people but most of us would rather visit the site we typed in. If Ivan will not visit this site then it is his loss, not ours, as we have enough knowledgeable people to more than make up for his being stubborn. It is enough to have the .Org in many of the signatures but do we really need a thread reminding us how divided .ORG makes us feel???

Would you like some fries or a hot APPLE PIE with that sir?.

There is no status ranking on our site because that's not the point. The point is to have FUN and help each other.

Actually I think Greg is the only one with it in his signature. In this case the word is being put out because the address was changed a bit because of problems with the hosting site, who still has not resolved the problems they created with upgrading one of their servers (actually they started out to do two of them, but ended up backing out of doing one of them after about 3 days and even it's still messed up). So now it's that we are putting out the word that after almost two weeks of being down it's back up.

At this point though the conversion that Greg and I were having had morphed to discussion of rallys.

As you wish! I will have fries with that!

My point is that all your advertising for .org is interfering with my FUN. and that while you may help each other after a full insult...or prior to...matters not. The point is that I like .com and would prefer that .org would do its recruiting elsewhere. If .ORG is to survive it will be able to make it on it's own and show up in google searches etc. Darwin says the dominant survive and while IVAN may hole up over at .org he will never achieve the same notorietry he would have achieved if he would post at .com as well

Actually Cy you are the one I respect the most for not bringing crap over here. You seem to be able to divide the two and keep it seperate. I know you had MORPHED to a different discussion but the main idea of the thread remained the same....say what you will it keeps one focused on the whole .org/.com site for me and many others
