I am getting a windows message poping up in my email site. I click the X and it goes away until the next time I open mail again. Any body got a solution for this crap??

If you're using Hotmail, then you've probably got messanger 'linked' to your hotmail account, so when you're using your hotmail, messenger sees thaty you're logged in and thus you get the pop up.
There is a place in the settings that you can unlink messanger from hotmail.

You can also uninstall it and it won't hurt anything, nothing is dependent on it so nothing will break. I have had it uninstalled for years. Any time something installs it, I just uninstall it again. I do have a messenger account that I use, on my PHONE, but it's pretty much the ONLY place I use it.Cy
